HEBBRONVILLE DEER HUNTING

We are a small hunting outfit located in Hebbronville, Texas (Jim Hogg County) specializing in quality whitetail deer hunting. We pride ourselves in offering you the best equipment, local guides who are very familiar with our ranch and a well-organized staff whose only concern is your satisfaction during your hunt.
 

Your hunt will be on approximately 35,000 acres of prime game habitat, on the Eshleman-Vogt Ranch. This ranch, in the heart of South Texas Brush Country, has been under an intensive management program for the last 15 years. The management program, combined with an excellent habitat, has made our ranch a sportsman’s paradise for whitetail deer and other indigenous game.

Hebbronville Deer Hunting 2009-2010 season was one of our best. On our low fence pastures we averaged a trophy score of 158 B+C. The largest Trophy shot was a 14 pt that scored 173 and came in 4rth place for women at the Muy Grande Deer contest. We had 23 out of 24 hunters get there trophy. We left a large number of mature deer for next season and are hopeful with the right conditions next year will be even better.

Fall 2010 Update, we have been blessed with above average rainfall. As of Oct 1,2010 we have had between 39-44 inches of rain on the ranch since January 1, 2010. The ranch looks like a jungle with the grass and weeds being 4-5 feet tall. The deer are in great condition, and the quail have bounced back in good numbers as well. We expect a higher than normal fawn crop and have seen above average antler development. Our trail cameras and guide observations are seeing a large number of kickers, stickers and drop tines on our mature bucks. Given the conditions all we need is a early freeze and some cold weather to make this the season of a lifetime. We look forward giving you reports as the season unfolds.
